ABSTRAK Paracetamol Paracetamol is a fever reducing and pain relieving drug widely used because it can be obtained without a doctor's prescription with an irrational use rate of 47% in the community which risks causing liver damage. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of Kampung Rendeng Wetan residents regarding the correct and safe use of Paracetamol. The research method used is descriptive observational with a purposive sampling technique on 71 respondents from 241 residents. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire with a scoring system of 1 for correct answers and 0 for incorrect answers, which were then grouped into good, sufficient, and poor categories. The results of the study detailed that the respondents' knowledge level fell into the good category for 55 people (77.46%) and the sufficient category for 16 people (22.54%), with no respondents in the poor category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge about the use of Paracetamol in Kampung Rendeng Wetan is overall good.

ABSTRACT The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64.25%, consisting of 54.89% primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% secondary dysmenorrhea. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 55% among those of productive age, with 15% complaining of limited activity due to dysmenorrhea. Lack of knowledge and understanding about dysmenorrhea management can lead to serious health problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of adolescent girls regarding dysmenorrhea management in Gunung Gebang Hamlet. This study used a descriptive observational method with data collection using a saturated sampling method. The sample population was adolescent girls in Gunung Gebang Hamlet. Data collection used a validated closed-ended questionnaire. The percentage of correct answers was calculated, and knowledge levels were then categorized into good, sufficient, and poor. The results of the study on 46 respondents of young women in Gunung Gebnag Hamlet, Prambanan, Sleman, showed that 33 respondents had good knowledge (71.74%), 9 respondents had sufficient knowledge (19.57%), and 4 respondents had poor knowledge (8.69%). From this study, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of young women is include in the good category.

Hypertension is a condition in which blood pressure in the blood vessels increases continuously. Hypertension is often referred to as The Silent Killer because sufferers usually do not know that they have hypertension and only find out that they have hypertension after complications occur. People who suffer from hypertension must have knowledge including the meaning of hypertension, the causes of hypertension and the importance of taking regular medication. This study aims to determine the level of public knowledge about the use of bananas in controlling blood pressure in Sengon Karang Bantul Hamlet in February 2025.
The type of research used is observational which is descriptive. The research sample was community respondents in Sengon Karang Bantul Hamlet. The instrument used in this study was a closed questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed to see the level of respondent knowledge.

Diarrhea is a disease characterized by an increase in the frequency of bowel movements three or more times a day. Based on previous studies, it shows that the higher the level of mother's knowledge about handling diarrhea, the lower the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about handling diarrhea in toddlers at the Posyandu Dusun Jebugan Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul in February 2025.
This study is a type of descriptive observational study with saturated sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is a closed questionnaire. Respondents in this study were mothers who have toddlers aged 12-59 months as many as 58 respondents. Data analysis was carried out by assessing the questionnaire for correct answers given a score of 1 and wrong answers given a score of 0. A person's knowledge can be interpreted with a level of good, sufficient and less knowledge.
The results of this study show the characteristics of respondents based on age, the majority of respondents are 25-34 years old, namely 44 respondents (75,86%), the characteristics of respondents based on the type of work are 46 respondents (79.31%), good knowledge is 49 respondents (84.48%), sufficient knowledge is 6 respondents (10,34%) and insufficient knowledge is 3 respondents (5,18%). The conclusion of this study is that the majority of mothers have knowledge about the management of diarrhea in toddlers in the good category.

Based on a study by Iskandar et al. (2022), 67.03% of the population purchased non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), showing that NSAIDs are relatively well known. However, these drugs carry risks of side effects. Spetaniuk et al. (2016) reported 1,460 cases of NSAID-related side effects in Ukraine in 2015 (94.4%). At Srandakan Farma Pharmacy, repeated NSAID purchases exceeding one strip and side effect complaints were also noted, yet patients continued usage.
This study aims to describe the level of patient knowledge regarding oral NSAID use at Srandakan Farma Pharmacy. It employed a descriptive observational method with purposive sampling involving 62 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Guttman scale, where correct answers scored 1 and incorrect answers scored 0. The percentage scores were used to classify knowledge levels as good, moderate, or poor.
The results showed that 15% of patients had good knowledge, 58% moderate, and 27% poor. It can be concluded that the overall patient knowledge regarding oral NSAID use at Srandakan Farma Pharmacy falls into the moderate category.

An unhealthy lifestyle is one of the causes of health problems. Lack of sufficient rest, infrequent exercise, and excessive consumption of unhealthy fast food can increase the risk of health disorders. A proper and healthy lifestyle significantly affects the body's health and ability to perform daily activities. One of the most common health issues nowadays is gastritis, also known as stomach ulcers or "maag." The aim of this study is to determine the level of knowledge of 10th-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari regarding the use of antacid medications.
This study uses an observational descriptive method with a purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari with a population of 206 students and used a sample of 75 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then analyzed based on the score of each statement. The results are presented in the form of presentations interpreted in the following categories: good, sufficient, and less.
The results of the study on 75 respondents showed that the level of knowledge about the use of antacid drugs as a whole was in the good category. A total of 48 respondents (64%) had a good level of knowledge, while 15 respondents (20%) were at a sufficient level of knowledge. The remaining 12 respondents (16%), had a lack of knowledge. This data shows that most respondents have a good understanding of the use of antacid drugs

Self-medication is the act of self-treatment without a doctor’s prescription which, if done correctly, can help reduce the burden on health services. A good level of knowledge about self-medication of diarrhea is very important to ensure proper use of drugs and prevent unwanted side effects. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari Gunungkidul about self-medication of diarrhea drugs. This research used descriptive observational method with purposive sampling techniques, involving 67 students as respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire containing 17 statements, including indicators of knowledge about diarrhea self-medication, drug use, dosage, side effects, and contraindications. The total population of 559 students then the calculation using the slovin formula obtained 67 students. Data were collected and the results were then calculated to be categorized as good, sufficient, and less. After scoring, data were analyzed in descriptive form. The result of this study indicate the level of knowledge of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari Gunungkidul who are well informed as many as 14 respondents (20%), who are moderately informed as many as 45 respondents (67%), and who are less knowledgeable as many as 8 respondents (12%). ABSTRAK The use of cosmetics, particularly whitening creams, has been progressively increasing among adolescents. One of the active ingredients commonly found in whitening products is hydroquinone, which functions by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase involved in the melanin formation process. Although effective, the use of hydroquinone in high concentrations or over extended periods may lead to various adverse effects, such as skin irritation, allergic reactions, and even potential carcinogenic risks. This study aims to assess the level of knowledge among students at SMK N 1 Sewon regarding the presence of hydroquinone in cosmetic products. This research employed a descriptive observational design with a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 125 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability, and the data were analyzed based on the respondents’ knowledge scores. The findings revealed that 41 respondents (32.8%) demonstrated a high level of knowledge, 78 respondents (62.4%) showed a moderate level, and 6 respondents (4.8%) exhibited a low level of knowledge. In conclusion, the overall level of knowledge among adolescents at SMK N 1 Sewon regarding hydroquinone content in cosmetics falls within the moderate category.

Diabetes mellitus is a degenerative disease that will continue to increase until 2030 with an estimated 647 million people. Based on the health profile of Sleman Regency, Diabetes mellitus is one of the diseases reported by the health center, which is in the top 10 diseases that occur in the health center. Sustainable use of natural resources and traditional herbs to be used as traditional medicine in an effort to improve health services. The use of traditional medicinal plants is one of the alternatives that are most in demand by the community. One of the plants that can be useful as medicine is the binahong leaf plant. This study uses a descriptive observational method with a cross sectional approach to measure the level of knowledge at one time. Data analysis uses a questionnaire that has been validated and then filled out by respondents who are research samples. The data obtained was then calculated from the results of the questionnaire and the data analysis was then made in the form of paragraphs with the categories of knowledge, namely good, sufficient, and less. The results of the study on the level of knowledge of PKK women on the use of binahong leaves (Anredera cardifolia. Steen) as an antidiabetic in Blotan Hamlet, Wedomartani, Sleman, as many as 64 respondents (47.41%) have good knowledge, 55 respondents (40.74%) have sufficient knowledge, and 16 respondents (11.85%) have insufficient knowledge, so it can be concluded that PKK women have knowledge about the use of binahong leaves as an antidiabetes categorized as sufficient.

Stomach ulcers or gastritis is pain due to inflammation or wounds in the stomach. Antacids are drugs that are commonly used in ulcer therapy, antacids function to maintain a pH between 3-5. Gastritis sufferers in the world reach 2.1 million people every year, the number of gastritis sufferers in Indonesia in 2019 is 40.8% and reaches a prevalence of 238,452,952 people in several regions in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of self-medicated patients about the use of antacids at Kasongan Kajen Pharmacy, Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used in this study is observational and descriptive. The sampling method used is the purposive sampling method, with a total of 90 samples. This study used a measuring tool in the form of a closed questionnaire to determine the level of knowledge of the respondents. The data obtained is described as good, sufficient, or less knowledge. Based on the results of the study, the gender that used the most antacid drugs was women as many as 54 patients (60%). The most age is age with a range of 15-25 (64.5%) and the most education is vocational school with 43 patients (47.8%). The level of knowledge of self-medication patients at the Kasongan pharmacy was 31 patients (34.4%), 42 patients (46.7%) in the adequate category and 17 patients (18.9%) in the poor category.

Antipyretics are drugs used to reduce body temperature due to fever or an increase in body temperature. Normal human body temperature is 36-37°C. Lack of knowledge of housewives about the use of antipyretics in toddlers greatly affects the use of antipyretics. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of mothers about the use of antipyretics in toddlers at Posyandu Jebugan Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul.
This study used descriptive observational research methods. The research sample used saturated sampling technique as many as 58 mothers in the Jebugan Hamlet Posyandu Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul who have toddlers aged 12-59 months. The instrument used in this study was a closed questionnaire. Data were collected and the results were then calculated in the form of % with the categories of good (76-100%), sufficient (56-75%), less (<56%).
The results showed that the level of knowledge of mothers about the use of antipyretics in toddlers at the Posyandu Jebugan Hamlet Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul, namely 28 respondents (48%) had a good level of knowledge, 25 respondents (43%) had a sufficient level of knowledge and 5 respondents (9%) had a lack of knowledge. The conclusion of this study is that most of the mothers' level of knowledge about the use of antipyretics in toddlers is in the good category.

ABSTRACT The eyes are the five senses of humans that play an important role in the process of daily activities, the eyes can experience visual disturbances that affect their quality. Lack of understanding about medicine can cause health problems. Therefore, it is important to apply DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Store, Dispose) for the safe and effective use of eye drops. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about DAGUSIBU eye drops among students of SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari Gunungkidul. This research method is descriptive observational with purposive sampling technique. Data collection used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The sample of this study amounted to 70 students. Data were collected and the results were then calculated as % to be categorized as good (≥76%-100%), sufficient (56% - 76%), and less (56%). After scoring, data were analyzed in descriptive form. The results showed that students who gained good knowledge about DAGUSIBU eye drops were 29 students (41%), 35 students (50%) and 6 students (9%). It can be concluded that the knowledge of students of SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari Gunungkidul regarding DAGUSIBU eye drops most students fall into the sufficient category.

Pain is a symptom that is most often experienced by everyone as a sign of a disturbance in the body. In 2018 in DIY Province, the prevalence of pain was 7.3% and this figure was higher than the national figure of 5.4%. Therefore, further research is needed on analgesic drugs in the community. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of the level of community knowledge about analgesic drugs in Sepaten RW 03 Kranggan Galur Kulon Progo Hamlet. This study was designed using descriptive observational research methods. Sampling by purposive sampling with sampling based on inclusion criteria. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire about analgesic drugs which was analyzed into categories of good, sufficient, and lacking.

The incidence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is quite high, with primary type dysmenorrhea around 54.89% while the rest sufferers with secondary dysmenorrhea. Adolescents' knowledge is very much needed in carrying out appropriate management of dysmenorrhea to improve their quality of life. The majority of adolescents girls knowledge regarding the management of dysmenorrhea is still in the poor category. The aim of this research was to determine the level of knowledge of adolescents girls regarding the management of dysmenorrhea in Pringgolayan Hamlet, Bantul. The method used in this research is descriptive observational and sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The sample in this study was 100 respondents from a population of 1,464 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire containing the definition, signs and symptoms, risk factors and management of dysmenorrhea. The data was then analyzed descriptively, namely describing a picture of knowledge in a situation with good, sufficient and poor levels of knowledge

The incidence of gastritis in Indonesia is quite high, namely 274,396 cases out of a population of 238,452,952. The increase in incidence is influenced by lifestyles that pay less attention to health. Public knowledge is needed in treating gastritis to prevent recurrence. The majority of people's knowledge regarding gastritis treatment is still in the inadequate category. This study aims to determine the level of community knowledge in treating gastritis in Pringgolayan Hamlet, Banguntapan, Bantul in January - February 2024.
The research method uses descriptive observational with sampling using purposive sampling with a population of 2,931 people and a sample of 100 respondents. The data observed included the level of knowledge in treating gastritis in Pringgolayan Hamlet, Banguntapan, Bantul. The data was then analyzed descriptively, namely describing a picture of knowledge in a situation with good, sufficient and poor levels of knowledge.

Diarrhea is an endemic disease that is still a public health problem in developing countries such as Indonesia. Diarrhea disease has the potential to cause extraordinary events (KLB) accompanied by death. The most severe threat of diarrhea is dehydration. In addition, diarrhea is a major cause of malnutrition and makes a person more vulnerable to other diseases. This study aims to determine the level of education on maternal knowledge about diarrhea in children in Harjobinangun Pakem Sleman.
This study used an analytic observational research method with a cross sectional approach with data collection using a questionnaire prospectively. The sample taken amounted to 96 respondents obtained through purposive sampling. The data from the questionnaire was processed using SPSS with the Chi-square correlation test to test the relationship between two variables, namely the independent and dependent variables.

Self-medication performed by the Indonesian population amounted to 64.35%. The largest percentage of self-medication performed in Panyabungan City was pain at 51.2%. Research in Surabaya states that one of the drugs often used for self-medication is analgesics (36.2-59%). Some previous studies on the level of knowledge of the use of analgesics in pain self-medication are still in the sufficient and insufficient category. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of the Gedongkuning community regarding the use of analgesics in pain self-medication. This study used descriptive observational method with purposive sampling. Data collection was done with a closed questionnaire on 75 respondents. Data analysis was carried out by summing up the scores of each respondent and then calculating the percentage of the assessment to determine the level of knowledge of the community included in the category of good, sufficient, or lacking. Factors influencing knowledge such as age, gender, education, and occupation were also analyzed. The research that has been conducted obtained the results of a good level of knowledge as many as 61 respondents (81%), 12 respondents (16%), and 2 respondents (3%). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that most of the Gedongkuning community has good knowledge about the use of analgesics in pain self-medication.

Exposure to too much UV radiation will have a negative impact on the skin and will cause skin cancer if left unchecked. Exposure to UV radiation can be prevented by using sunscreen before doing activities. The use of sunscreen is more desirable for women, especially teenagers. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of grade XI female students of SMA Negeri 2 Banguntapan Bantul towards the use of sunscreen. This study was conducted using descriptive observational method research using prospective data regarding the level of sunscreen knowledge. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a score assessment, the results of the data were presented in tabular form about good, sufficient, and lack of knowledge.

Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional state that can be associated with several types of actual and potential tissue damage. The prevalence of pain in Bantul Regency in 2018 was 20,000 cases. Previous research shows that there are still many people who have sufficient and insufficient knowledge about pain management. This lack of knowledge can cause pain to not be managed properly. This study aims to determine the level of community knowledge about pain management in Grojogan Hamlet, Tamanan, Banguntapan, Bantul.
This study used an observational method that was descriptive in nature. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method with a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection was done using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively by scoring, the results of the data were presented with a percentage in the form of a table about the description of the level of knowledge of good, sufficient, and less.
The results showed respondents with good knowledge 64%, sufficient knowledge 36%, and less knowledge 0%. It was concluded that respondents in Grojogan Hamlet had good knowledge with the majority of respondents aged 19-22 years, high school education / equivalent, working as laborers, and female gender.

Vitamins are substances needed by the body because they have important functions for the body, vitamin C also has a role in the body's metabolic activities. Vitamin C deficiency can cause deficiencies in various diseases, such as mouth ulcers, anemia, dry skin and gingivitis. Sources of vitamin C can be found in fruits and vegetables. The aim of this research was to determine the level of knowledge regarding the use of vitamin C at the Al-Fayadh Potorono Pharmacy, Banguntapan, Bantul. This research uses descriptive observational methods and uses prospective research methods. The sample used is 110 respondents. The technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection used a closed questionnaire created by researchers and adopted from Zalfa Salsabila's research in 2019. Data analysis used the Guttman scale where correct answers were given a score of 1 and wrong answers were given a score of 0, and categorized by percentage into 3 categories, namely good 76-100%, sufficient 56-75%, and less 56%.
