Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang Penggunaan Antipiretik Pada Balita di Posyandu Dusun Jebugan Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul Bulan Februari 2025
Antipyretics are drugs used to lower body temperature due to fever or increased body temperature. The normal body temperature of humans is 36-37°C. The lack of knowledge of housewives about the use of antipyretics in toddlers greatly affects the use of antipyretics. The purpose of this study is to find out an overview of the level of knowledge of mothers about the use of antipyretics in toddlers at the Posyandu Dusun Jebugan Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul. This study uses a descriptive observational research method with a saturated sampling technique. The instrumental used in this study is a closed questionnaire. The respondents in this study were mothers with toddlers aged 12-59 months as many as 58 respondents. Data were collected and the results were then calculated in the form of % with the categories of good (76-100%), fair (56-75%), poor (56%). The results of the study show that the level of mothers' knowledge about the use of antipyretics in toddlers at the Posyandu of Dusun Jebugan Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul is as follows: 28 respondents (48%) have a good level of knowledge, 25 respondents (43%) have a sufficient level of knowledge, and 5 respondents (9%) have a poor level of knowledge. The conclusion of this study is that the majority of mothers' knowledge about the use of antipyretics in toddlers is categorized as good.
