Tingkat Pengetahuan Remaja Putri terhadap Penanganan Dismenore Di Dusun Gunung Gebang Prambanan Desember 2025
ABSTRACT The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64.25%, consisting of 54.89% primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% secondary dysmenorrhea. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 55% among those of productive age, with 15% complaining of limited activity due to dysmenorrhea. Lack of knowledge and understanding about dysmenorrhea management can lead to serious health problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of adolescent girls regarding dysmenorrhea management in Gunung Gebang Hamlet. This study used a descriptive observational method with data collection using a saturated sampling method. The sample population was adolescent girls in Gunung Gebang Hamlet. Data collection used a validated closed-ended questionnaire. The percentage of correct answers was calculated, and knowledge levels were then categorized into good, sufficient, and poor. The results of the study on 46 respondents of young women in Gunung Gebnag Hamlet, Prambanan, Sleman, showed that 33 respondents had good knowledge (71.74%), 9 respondents had sufficient knowledge (19.57%), and 4 respondents had poor knowledge (8.69%). From this study, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of young women is include in the good category.
