Exposure to too much UV radiation will have a negative impact on the skin and will cause skin cancer if left unchecked. Exposure to UV radiation can be prevented by using sunscreen before doing activities. The use of sunscreen is more desirable for women, especially teenagers. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of grade XI female students of SMA Negeri 2 Banguntapan Bantul towards the use of sunscreen. This study was conducted using descriptive observational method research using prospective data regarding the level of sunscreen knowledge. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a score assessment, the results of the data were presented in tabular form about good, sufficient, and lack of knowledge.

Kortikosteroid sangat sering diresepkan dalam dunia kedokteran. Penggunaan kortikosteroid yang luas menyebabkan banyaknya kekeliruan atau ketidaktepatan dalam peresepan obat-obat kortikosteroid. Pada penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Khairunnisa menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian sebesar 28,74%, sedangkan pada penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Fitriah masih menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian dosis sebesar 17,24%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kesesuaian pada peresepan kortikosteroid di Apotek Pangastuti Kotabaru Yogyakarta periode Oktober – Desember 2022. Jenis penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah penelitian obsevasional deskriptif secara retrospektif, yang kemudian akan dianalisis secara deskriptif terkait kesesuaian dalam peresepan obat kortikosteroid di Apotek Pangastuti Kotabaru Yogyakarta periode Oktober – Desember 2022. Jumlah populasi resep sejumlah 420 resep, dan sampel yang akan digunakan sejumlah 81 resep. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk persentase kesesuaian dosis pada resep dengan Drug Information Handbook edisi 22. Hasil peresepan obat kortikosteroid di Apotek Pangastuti periode Oktober- Desember 2022 jenis obat yang paling sering diresepkan antara lain Methyl prednisolon sebesar 47,1%, Fludrocortisone Acetate sebesar 23,5%, Dexamethasone sebesar 20%, Triamcinolon sebesar 3,5%, Desoximethasone dan Momethasone sebesar 2,3%, dan Prednison sebesar 1,2%. Tingkat kesesuaian peresepan obat kortikosteroid dengan Drug Information Handbook edisi 22 sebesar 98,8%.

Ketapang is a plant that is often found in Indonesia and is widely used as a medicinal plant. Ketapang leaves contain phenolic compounds which are efficacious as antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant activity of steeping ketapang leaves in the form of dried simplicia. Antioxidant activity was measured using the DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl). The sample tested for dried ketapang leaf simplicia was prepared using sieve number 8 and then brewed using distilled water with an initial temperature of 95oC. Brewing is done for 30 minutes and the steeping temperature will drop. Samples of steeping dried ketapang leaves were made with concentration series of 625 ppm, 1250 ppm, 2500 ppm, 5000 ppm and 10,000 ppm. The reference solution used was quercetin with concentration series of 1 ppm, 5 ppm, 10 ppm, 15 ppm, 20 ppm and 25 ppm. Antioxidant activity testing was carried out using the DPPH method. Antioxidant activity was calculated in the value of % inhibition and IC50 (50% Inhibitory Concentration). The significance of the difference between the sample and the controls was analyzed using SPSS 23. The results showed that steeping ketapang leaves and quercetin had IC50 values of 10,020.79 ± 45.69 and 18.98 ± 0.41, respectively. The DPPH free radical inhibition value indicated that the steeping of ketapang leaves had weaker antioxidant activity than quercetin.
