Abstrak
ABSTRACT The eyes are the five senses of humans that play an important role in the process of daily activities, the eyes can experience visual disturbances that affect their quality. Lack of understanding about medicine can cause health problems. Therefore, it is important to apply DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Store, Dispose) for the safe and effective use of eye drops. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about DAGUSIBU eye drops among students of SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari Gunungkidul. This research method is descriptive observational with purposive sampling technique. Data collection used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The sample of this study amounted to 70 students. Data were collected and the results were then calculated as % to be categorized as good (≥76%-100%), sufficient (56% - 76%), and less (56%). After scoring, data were analyzed in descriptive form. The results showed that students who gained good knowledge about DAGUSIBU eye drops were 29 students (41%), 35 students (50%) and 6 students (9%). It can be concluded that the knowledge of students of SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari Gunungkidul regarding DAGUSIBU eye drops most students fall into the sufficient category.
