Abstrak
According to the Yogyakarta Health Department data in 2021, there were over 35% of cough sufferers in the Kulon Progo and Bantul areas. Self-medication for cough is influenced by health knowledge, and it has several advantages when done correctly. This research aims to assess patients' knowledge levels regarding self-medication for cough at Trucuk Pajangan Bantul Pharmacy. The study utilizes an operational descriptive method with purposive sampling technique. The sample consists of self-medicating cough patients at Trucuk Pajangan Bantul Pharmacy, aged 15-64, with a total of 68 respondents. The research instrument employs a closed-ended questionnaire on knowledge levels. Data analysis is descriptive, using percentage formulas and categorizing.
