Prevalence of diabetes mellitus (DM) continues to increase both globally and nationally, including in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which ranks second highest in Indonesia (2.9%). DM is the second most common degenerative disease after hypertension, with a total of 1,431 cases recorded at Puskesmas Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta during the period of July–September 2025. This study aimed to describe the prescribing pattern of antidiabetic medications in patients with type II DM at Puskesmas Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta during July–September 2025.
The study used a descriptive observational method with a retrospective approach. The population in this study consisted of 1,431 medical records and total of 95 medical records that met the inclusion criteria were selected as samples using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis with percentage frequency distribution presented in tables to describe drug prescribing, including drug classes, drug names, and types of therapy (monotherapy and combination therapy).
The results showed that the antidiabetic drug classes used at Puskesmas Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta during July–September 2025 were the biguanide class, metformin (55.92%), and the sulfonylurea class, glimepiride (44.08%). The monotherapy used was metformin (29.47%) and glimepiride (10.53%), combination therapy used was metformin and glimepiride (60.00%).

ABSTRAK Paracetamol Paracetamol is a fever reducing and pain relieving drug widely used because it can be obtained without a doctor's prescription with an irrational use rate of 47% in the community which risks causing liver damage. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of Kampung Rendeng Wetan residents regarding the correct and safe use of Paracetamol. The research method used is descriptive observational with a purposive sampling technique on 71 respondents from 241 residents. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire with a scoring system of 1 for correct answers and 0 for incorrect answers, which were then grouped into good, sufficient, and poor categories. The results of the study detailed that the respondents' knowledge level fell into the good category for 55 people (77.46%) and the sufficient category for 16 people (22.54%), with no respondents in the poor category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge about the use of Paracetamol in Kampung Rendeng Wetan is overall good.

Based on a study by Iskandar et al. (2022), 67.03% of the population purchased non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), showing that NSAIDs are relatively well known. However, these drugs carry risks of side effects. Spetaniuk et al. (2016) reported 1,460 cases of NSAID-related side effects in Ukraine in 2015 (94.4%). At Srandakan Farma Pharmacy, repeated NSAID purchases exceeding one strip and side effect complaints were also noted, yet patients continued usage.
This study aims to describe the level of patient knowledge regarding oral NSAID use at Srandakan Farma Pharmacy. It employed a descriptive observational method with purposive sampling involving 62 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Guttman scale, where correct answers scored 1 and incorrect answers scored 0. The percentage scores were used to classify knowledge levels as good, moderate, or poor.
The results showed that 15% of patients had good knowledge, 58% moderate, and 27% poor. It can be concluded that the overall patient knowledge regarding oral NSAID use at Srandakan Farma Pharmacy falls into the moderate category.

An unhealthy lifestyle is one of the causes of health problems. Lack of sufficient rest, infrequent exercise, and excessive consumption of unhealthy fast food can increase the risk of health disorders. A proper and healthy lifestyle significantly affects the body's health and ability to perform daily activities. One of the most common health issues nowadays is gastritis, also known as stomach ulcers or "maag." The aim of this study is to determine the level of knowledge of 10th-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari regarding the use of antacid medications.
This study uses an observational descriptive method with a purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Purwosari with a population of 206 students and used a sample of 75 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then analyzed based on the score of each statement. The results are presented in the form of presentations interpreted in the following categories: good, sufficient, and less.
The results of the study on 75 respondents showed that the level of knowledge about the use of antacid drugs as a whole was in the good category. A total of 48 respondents (64%) had a good level of knowledge, while 15 respondents (20%) were at a sufficient level of knowledge. The remaining 12 respondents (16%), had a lack of knowledge. This data shows that most respondents have a good understanding of the use of antacid drugs

ABSTRACT Diarrheal diseases are the third leading cause of death in children under 5 years old. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2024, the death rate is around 443,832 children each year. The prevalence of diarrhea in Indonesia according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020 was 9.8%. The number of diarrhea cases in Yogyakarta Province in 2022 was 29,190 cases. The number of diarrhea cases in Bantul Regency in 2021 is 1,919 cases. This study was used to determine the pattern of diarrhea drug prescribing in pediatric patients at the Bantul I Health Center in 2024. This study used a descriptive observational method with retrospective data collection. Sampling using saturated sampling technique as many as 60 samples, where this study was conducted by taking data from Medical Records in the form of prescriptions for diarrhea patients in children in 2024. Data were analyzed by calculating the percentage of gender, age, name of diarrhea medicine, class of diarrhea medicine and dose of diarrhea medicine based on MIMS 2023.

Hypertension is one of the most common diseases found in Indonesia. More than 63 million Indonesians suffer from hypertension with a death rate of more than 427 people. Based on a survey at the Kasihan II Community Health Center, hypertension cases were ranked first among the top ten diseases. This research was conducted to determine the pattern of antihypertensive drug prescribing at the Kasihan II Community Health Center in December 2023.
This research used a descriptive observational method. Retrospective data collection used medical record data and prescriptions from hypertensive patients in December 2023. Data was analyzed quantitatively by describing and calculating percentages including patient characteristics, type of hypertension therapy, antihypertensive drug class, comorbidities and antihypertensive drug dosage. The results of the data percentage are presented in table form.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that can be reconized by increased blood sugar levels beyond normal limits that is current blood sugar level ≥200 mg/dL and fasting blood sugar ≥126 mg/dL. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Bantul Regency in 2022 will be 15.727 cases. Cases of diabetes mellitus at Rajawali Citra Hospital in 2022 were 1.961 cases and will be in the first position of the nine most common diseases in 2023. Besed on previous research, the drug often used for diabetes mellitus therapy are Metformin and Glimepiride. This study will aim to determine the diabetes mellitus type II drug use pattern at Rajawali Citra Hospital period May – October 2023. This is a descriptive observasional study with retrospective data collection wich was carried out at Rajawali Citra Hospital for the period May – October in 2023 with as many as 94 samples. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively quantitatively and then presented in a table in percentage form.

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit dimana tekanan darah sistolik ≥ mmHg dan atau tekanan darah diastolik ≥ 90 mmHg. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan oleh peneliti di Puskesmas Purwosari hipertensi menjadi peringkat pertama dari sepuluh besar penyakit. Penanganan obat antihipertensi dengan terapi farmakologi yang tepat merupakan salah satu langkah strategis penanganan hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran peresepan obat antihipertensi pada pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Purwosari Kabupaten Gunungkidul periode Januari – Juni 2022.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional yang bersifat deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif. Pengambilan data dengan metode random sampling dengan jumlah rekam medis sebanyak 91. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kemudian hasil data disajikan dengan persentase dalam bentuk tabel atau diagram. Hasil peneltian berupa distribusi data berdasarkan karakteriktik pasien, nama dan golongan obat, serta jenis terapi.

Obat generik adalah obat dengan nama resmi International Non Propietary Names yang ditetapkan dalam farmakope Indonesia atau buku standar lainya untuk zat berkhasiat yang di kandungnya. Obat paten merupakan obat baru yang diproduksi dan dipasarkan oleh sebuah perusahaan farmasi yang memiliki hak paten untuk memproduksi obat tersebut sesuai Disaster Management Institue Of Indonesia dan memiliki hak paten selama 20 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar (RISKESDAS) pada tahun 2013 menunjukan bahwa 31,9% rumah tangga mengetahui tentang Obat Generik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan pasien tentang obat generik dan obat paten di Apotek Sidorejo Farma. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasional deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan teknik kuantitatif deskriptif. Sehingga tingkat pengetahuan dalam penelitian ini dikategorikan menjadi berpengetahuan baik, cukup baik, kurang baik. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 responden dengan hasil penelitian responden dengan pengetahuan “Baik” sejumlah 45 (50%), responden berpengetahuan “Cukup” sejumlah 26 (29%), dan responden berpengetahuan “Kurang” sejumlah 19 (21%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan pasien di Apotek Sidorejo Farma Kulon Progo mengenai perbedaan obat generik dan obat paten adalah “Baik” dengan persentase 50%. Generic drugs are drugs with the official name International Non Proprietary Names stipulated in the Indonesian pharmacopoeia or other standard books for the nutritious substances they contain. Patent drugs are new drugs that are produced and marketed by a pharmaceutical company that has a patent right to produce the drug according to the Disaster Management Institute of Indonesia and has a patent for 20 years. Based on the results of Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2013 it showed that 31.9% of households knew about Generic Drugs. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient knowledge about generic drugs and patented drugs at the Sidorejo Farma Pharmacy. The method used in this research is descriptive observational, with data collection using questionnaires and data analysis using descriptive quantitative techniques. So that the level of knowledge in this study is categorized into good knowledge, good enough, not good. Respondents in this study amounted to 90 respondents with the results of the research respondents with "Good" knowledge of 45 (50%), respondents with "Enough" knowledge of 26 (29%), and respondents with "Less" knowledge of 19 (21%). The conclusion of this study is that the knowledge of patients at the Sidorejo Farma Kulon Progo Pharmacy regarding the differences between generic drugs and patent drugs is "Good" with a percentage of 50%.
