Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang DAGUSIBU Antibiotik pada Ibu-Ibu PKK di Padukuhan Gunung Gebang Kecamatan Prambanan
In Indonesia, infectious diseases are a major health problem due to their high prevalence of 40%-60%. Antibiotic are a class of drugs used to treat infectious diseases. Antibiotics are administered to patients with infectious diseases to inhibit the growth of or kill organisms, particularly disease-causing bacteria. The DAGUSIBU concept was developed as an effort to improve rational antibiotic use. This study aimed to assess the level of knowledge of PKK mothers regarding the application of DAGUSIBU antibiotic. This research method is descriptive observational using a saturated sample of 45 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a validated closed questionnaire. Data was analyzed based on the percentage of correct answers, then the level of knowledge was categorized into good, sufficient and poor. The results obtained on the level of knowledge about DAGUSIBU antibiotics among PKK mothers in Gunung Gebang Hamlet show that the level of knowledge of PKK mothers about DAGUSIBU antibiotics is in the good category for 13 respondents (28.89%), the sufficient category for 30 respondents (66.67%), and the poor category for 2 respondents (4.45%). Therefore, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge about DAGUSIBU antibiotics among PKK mothers in Gunung Gebang Hamlet is in the sufficient category.
