Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan pasien dengan Kepatuhan Minum Obat Hipertensi Di Puskesmas Kota Gede II Yogyakarta Pada Bulan Februari 2024
Hypertension is the third leading cause of death after stroke and tuberculosis, accounting for 6.7% of all deaths in Indonesia. This is supported by Riskesdas data which explains that 13.3% of people with hypertension do not take medication. Non-adherence to therapy is one of the factors leading to an increase in the prevalence of hypertension. Therefore, the level of knowledge about antihypertensive drugs is a major factor affecting the compliance behavior of hypertensive patients, so that a good level of knowledge will support the success of therapy with antihypertensives. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance with taking antihypertensive drugs at the Kotagede II Yogyakarta Health Center. The research method used is observational which is analytic in nature with a cross sectional approach. Data collection in this study consisted of a knowledge questionnaire and an antihypertensive medication compliance questionnaire. The data analysis used was the Chi-Square Test on SPSS 25.
