Gambaran Peresepan Antibiotik Pada Pasien Pneumonia Rawat Inap di RS Bethesda Kota Yogyakarta Periode Juli - November 2024
The prevalence of pneumonia in Indonesia based on diagnosis or symptoms at all ages nationally is 10.8%. In the prevalence of Pneumonia in Toddlers increased from the results of the 2018 Riskesdas by 4.8% to 15.0%. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2019 pneumonia caused 15% of the number of child deaths of 808,694 children aged 5 years in 2017. The incidence of pneumonia in the Special Region of Yogyakarta increased in 2013 by 1.2% and in 2018 to 1.4%. In 2015-2019 in the city of Yogyakarta there was an increase, in 2018 there were 1,178 and 1,540 cases in 2019. Pneumonia is a lower respiratory infection caused by viruses, bacteria, parasites or fungi. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of antibiotic prescriptions in hospitalized pneumonia patients at Bethesda Hospital, Yogyakarta City, July-November 2024. This study used a descriptive observational method with retrospective data collection. Sample in the form of a prescription from the medical record of a hospitalized pneumonia patien. Sampling using the total sampling technique was 91 prescriptions. The results of the study on the description of antibiotic prescriptions in hospitalized pneumonia patients at Bethesda Hospital, Yogyakarta, July-November 2024 showed that the most commonly used antibiotic was Ceftriaxone with 42 prescriptions (43.75%) with the third generation Cephalosporin group with 63 prescriptions (65.5%).
