Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Remaja tentang DAGUSIBU Sediaan Obat Mata di Dusun Jongkang Bulan Februari 2025
The misuse of medication remains a common issue in communities, including the self-medication of eye preparations that often do not follow proper guidelines. DAGUSIBU (Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, Buang) is a program initiated by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association to increase public awareness of proper medication practices. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge among teenagers in Dusun Jongkang regarding the DAGUSIBU principles, particularly for eye medication preparations. This research used a descriptive observational method with purposive sampling involving 55 teenage respondents. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument, and data were analyzed using a scoring system to classify knowledge into good, sufficient, or poor categories. The results showed that 18% of respondents had a good level of knowledge, 55% sufficient, and 27% poor. It was found that understanding of medication disposal methods and the use of certain drugs, such as those containing dexamethasone, was still low. These findings highlight the need for further education on DAGUSIBU, especially regarding sterile eye medication preparations.
