Gambaran Pengelolaan Obat Kadaluwarsa di Apotek K-24 Taman Siswa Tahun 2024
Drug management is an activity related to aspects of planning, procurement, recipt, storage, destruction, control, recording, and reporting. Drug management is used to ensure the availability of drugs when needed, both in terms of quality, tipe, and quality for effective and efficient operational activities. Poor planning can lead to full storage and the risk of causing expired drug. The purpose of this research is to know the description of expired drug management at the K-24 Taman Siswa Yogyakarta Pharmacy in 2024. This research is a descriptive observational. This sampling method in this research was purposive sampling with a total of 98 samples. The analysis in this study includes calculating the percentage of drugs that will expired in the 2024 period, interview observations to find out the factors causing expired medicines and how to manage expired drug in K-24 Taman Siswa Yogyakarta Pharmacy. The research results and conclusions in this study are that the percentage of expired drugs at Apotek K-24 Taman Siswa Yogyakarta is 0,023%, so it does not comply with the requirements for expire drug indicators, namely 0% and management of expired drugs at Apotek K-24 Taman Siswa Yogyakarta is appropriate.
