Diarrhea is a disease characterized by an increase in the frequency of bowel movements three or more times a day. Based on previous studies, it shows that the higher the level of mother's knowledge about handling diarrhea, the lower the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about handling diarrhea in toddlers at the Posyandu Dusun Jebugan Tirtomulyo Kretek Bantul in February 2025.
This study is a type of descriptive observational study with saturated sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is a closed questionnaire. Respondents in this study were mothers who have toddlers aged 12-59 months as many as 58 respondents. Data analysis was carried out by assessing the questionnaire for correct answers given a score of 1 and wrong answers given a score of 0. A person's knowledge can be interpreted with a level of good, sufficient and less knowledge.
The results of this study show the characteristics of respondents based on age, the majority of respondents are 25-34 years old, namely 44 respondents (75,86%), the characteristics of respondents based on the type of work are 46 respondents (79.31%), good knowledge is 49 respondents (84.48%), sufficient knowledge is 6 respondents (10,34%) and insufficient knowledge is 3 respondents (5,18%). The conclusion of this study is that the majority of mothers have knowledge about the management of diarrhea in toddlers in the good category.

ABSTRAK The use of cosmetics, particularly whitening creams, has been progressively increasing among adolescents. One of the active ingredients commonly found in whitening products is hydroquinone, which functions by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase involved in the melanin formation process. Although effective, the use of hydroquinone in high concentrations or over extended periods may lead to various adverse effects, such as skin irritation, allergic reactions, and even potential carcinogenic risks. This study aims to assess the level of knowledge among students at SMK N 1 Sewon regarding the presence of hydroquinone in cosmetic products. This research employed a descriptive observational design with a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 125 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability, and the data were analyzed based on the respondents’ knowledge scores. The findings revealed that 41 respondents (32.8%) demonstrated a high level of knowledge, 78 respondents (62.4%) showed a moderate level, and 6 respondents (4.8%) exhibited a low level of knowledge. In conclusion, the overall level of knowledge among adolescents at SMK N 1 Sewon regarding hydroquinone content in cosmetics falls within the moderate category.

MOTHER'S LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT USE WORMS MEDICINES IN KARANGREJEK VILLAGE, BANTUL JANUARY 2023 ESSENCE
The prevalence of helminthiasis in Indonesia is still very high, ranging from 2.5% to 62%, especially among the less fortunate with poor hygiene. In the previous research regarding the mother's knowledge about the use of deworming drugs, it was found that the majority of knowledge was still in the less category, namely 50%. This study aims to determine knowledge about the use of deworming drugs in Karangrejek Hamlet, Bantul in January 2023. The research method used was observational descriptive using a questionnaire and sampling was done by purposive sampling method. The sample in this study were mothers in Karangrejek Hamlet as many as 75 respondents. The data were analyzed by calculating the score of each respondent and calculating the proportion of their assessment to find out that the community's knowledge was included in the good, sufficient, or poor categories. The results of the study were divided into 3 categories, namely the good category with a proportion of 58.66%, the adequate category with a proportion of 36% and the poor category with a proportion of 4%, the level of mother's knowledge about the use of deworming drugs in Karangrejek Hamlet, can be interpreted as an adequate category with a proportion of 58.66 %.
