Kajian Potensi Interaksi Obat Antidiabetik Oral dan Antihipertensi di Apotek Medikatama Yogyakarta Periode Oktober - Desember 2023
The Special Region of Yogyakarta is ranked first with the highest number of diabetes mellitus patients at 2.6%. Treatment that is not immediately carried out in patients with diabetes mellitus can cause complications, including hypertension. The Special Region of Yogyakarta has a prevalence of diabetes mellitus with hypertension of 68%, which is followed by an increase in the use of various drugs, causing drug interactions that can affect the patient's condition. This study aims to determine the potential interaction of oral antidiabetic drugs with antihypertensive drugs. This study used an observational method that was analytical in nature, with retrospective data collection on BPJS patient prescriptions at Medikatama Yogyakarta Pharmacy for the period October 1–December 31, 2023. Sampling using the purposive sampling technique on 100 BPJS patient prescription data. Data analysis includes patient characteristics (name, age, and gender) and potential interactions (interaction occurrence, interacting drugs, and severity) based on Medscape.
