Pola Peresepan Antibiotik ISPA pada balita di Puskesmas Kotagede I Yogyakarta Periode Agustus-November 2024
The prevalence of ARI in toddlers in Indonesia continues to increase every year, which is 12.8%. The incidence of ARI in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province reached 7%. In 2012, the prevalence of ARI in DIY reached 23.3% and was among the top 10 in Indonesia. Treatment for ARI patients uses antibiotics such as Amoxicillin and Cefotaxime, as well as additional pharmacological therapies. This study aims to determine the Pattern of Prescribing Antibiotics for ARI in toddlers at the Kotagede I Health Center in Yogyakarta for the period August-November 2024. This study uses a descriptive observational method with retrospective data collection. Data collection through antibiotic medical records from toddler patients with ARI treatment of 80 samples. The data obtained were analyzed using a descriptive analytical method with percentage results. The results of the study that has been conducted on the Pattern of Prescribing Antibiotics for ISPA in Toddlers at the Kitagede I Health Center in Yogyakarta for the period August - November 2024, the name of the most widely used drug is Amoxicillin with 76 prescriptions (95%), the most widely used drug group is the Penicillin group with 76 prescriptions (95%). So it can be concluded that the antibiotic used for ISPA is Amoxicillin with the Penicillin group.
