Abstrak: Papaya leaves contain alkaloids which have antibacterial activity against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Propionibacterium acnes, and Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria. Papaya leaf extract was developed as a traditional medicine in the form of cream preparations to make it more effective in its use. The purpose of this study was to determine the organoleptic physical and chemical characteristics of the papaya leaf ethanol extract cream. This research was conducted using the post test only control design method. The cream is made using papaya leaf ethanol extract. The preparation of cream preparations uses two formulas, namely formula 1 without ethanol extract of papaya leaves and formula 2 with ethanol extract of papaya leaves. The cream results obtained were then subjected to organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, and diameter of the spread. The results of organoleptic data and homogeneity are described. The obtained pH and scatter diameter data were then statistically analyzed using SPSS 23.0. normality test using Shapiro Wilk and homogeneity test using Levene's Test. The results of normal and homogeneous data analysis will be followed by the Independent sample T-Test. Data that is not normally distributed will be carried out by the Mann Withney test.
