TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PASIEN TENTANG PERBEDAAN OBAT GENERIK DENGAN OBAT PATEN DI APOTEK SIDOREJO FARMA KULON PROGO PERIODE FEBRUARI 2023

Abstract

Obat generik adalah obat dengan nama resmi International Non Propietary Names yang ditetapkan dalam farmakope Indonesia atau buku standar lainya untuk zat berkhasiat yang di kandungnya. Obat paten merupakan obat baru yang diproduksi dan dipasarkan oleh sebuah perusahaan farmasi yang memiliki hak paten untuk memproduksi obat tersebut sesuai Disaster Management Institue Of Indonesia dan memiliki hak paten selama 20 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar (RISKESDAS) pada tahun 2013 menunjukan bahwa 31,9% rumah tangga mengetahui tentang Obat Generik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan pasien tentang obat generik dan obat paten di Apotek Sidorejo Farma. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasional deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan teknik kuantitatif deskriptif. Sehingga tingkat pengetahuan dalam penelitian ini dikategorikan menjadi berpengetahuan baik, cukup baik, kurang baik. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 responden dengan hasil penelitian responden dengan pengetahuan “Baik” sejumlah 45 (50%), responden berpengetahuan “Cukup” sejumlah 26 (29%), dan responden berpengetahuan “Kurang” sejumlah 19 (21%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan pasien di Apotek Sidorejo Farma Kulon Progo mengenai perbedaan obat generik dan obat paten adalah “Baik” dengan persentase 50%. Generic drugs are drugs with the official name International Non Proprietary Names stipulated in the Indonesian pharmacopoeia or other standard books for the nutritious substances they contain. Patent drugs are new drugs that are produced and marketed by a pharmaceutical company that has a patent right to produce the drug according to the Disaster Management Institute of Indonesia and has a patent for 20 years. Based on the results of Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2013 it showed that 31.9% of households knew about Generic Drugs. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient knowledge about generic drugs and patented drugs at the Sidorejo Farma Pharmacy. The method used in this research is descriptive observational, with data collection using questionnaires and data analysis using descriptive quantitative techniques. So that the level of knowledge in this study is categorized into good knowledge, good enough, not good. Respondents in this study amounted to 90 respondents with the results of the research respondents with "Good" knowledge of 45 (50%), respondents with "Enough" knowledge of 26 (29%), and respondents with "Less" knowledge of 19 (21%). The conclusion of this study is that the knowledge of patients at the Sidorejo Farma Kulon Progo Pharmacy regarding the differences between generic drugs and patent drugs is "Good" with a percentage of 50%.
