Gambaran Tingkat Kepatuhan Minum Tablet Ferro Sulfat pada Ibu Hamil di Puskesmas Kotagede 1 Periode Januari-Februari 2023

Abstract

Anemia during pregnancy is a public health problem, especially in developing countries. In Indonesia, the incidence of anemia in pregnant women is 48.9% and in Yogyakarta City in 2020 it is 23.31%. One of the steps to control the incidence of anemia is adherence in consuming ferrous sulfate tablets. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of adherence to taking ferrous sulfate tablets in pregnant women at the Kotagede 1 Public Health Center for the January-February 2023 period. This study uses a descriptive observational method. The population in this study were 157 pregnant women at the Kotagede 1 Health Center from January to November 2022. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study were all pregnant women who checked their pregnancies at the Kotagede 1 Health Center in January-February 2023 according to the inclusion criteria of 30 respondents. This study used the MMAS-8 questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the level of adherence to taking ferrous sulfate tablets in pregnant women at the Kotagede 1 Public Health Center was 46.67% disobedient, 40% adherent, and 13.33% very adherent.
