Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat Tentang Penggunaan Obat Tetes Mata Di Desa Geparang Purwodadi Kabupaten Purworejo Bulan Februari 2023

Abstract

Eye drops are sterile preparations in the form of a solution or suspension, used for the eyes, by dripping the drug on the mucous membrane of the eye around the eyelids and eyeball. If eye drops are not used in the right way, they will have an impact on the eyes, such as irritation and other eye disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of public knowledge about the use of eye drops in Geparang Village, Purwodadi, Purworejo district. This type of research is quantitative descriptive observational. Sampling using the method purposive sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. Analysis of knowledge level data using the score of each statement obtained is then calculated using the percentage formula then the calculation results are included in 3 categories, namely good with a percentage (76% - 100%), sufficient percentage (56% - 75%) and less percentage <56 %. The results of this study have a good level of knowledge as many as 50 respondents (50%), sufficient category as many as 33 respondents (33%), less category as many as 17 respondents (17%).
