Tingkat Pengetahuan Pasien Tentang Obat Anti Inflamasi Non Steroid (AINS) di Apotek Perdana Yogyakarta Bulan Januari 2023

Abstract

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) are drugs to treat pain, especially rheumatic pain. NSAID are often used for joint disease. The prevalence of joint disease in the Yogyakarta is quite high at 5.93%, so the use of NSAID is also high. Pharmacies provide many NSAID drugs, but many people still do not understand about the use of NSAID drugs. Sales of NSAID at Perdana Pharmacy are quite high with an average of 829 patients buying NSAID in one month. This study aims to determine the level of patient knowledge about NSAID drugs at the Yogyakarta Perdana Pharmacy for the period January 2023. This study uses an observational method that is descriptive by looking at the primary data from the questionnaire. Sampling using purposive sampling technique on 90 respondents. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the score of each answer to the questionnaire, then calculating the percentage, then grouping it into good, sufficient, less categories. The results showed that the level of knowledge in the good category was 42 respondents (47%), the category of sufficient was 38 respondents (42%), and the category of less was 10 respondents (11%). The conclusion is that most of the patients at Perdana Pharmacy have good knowledge about NSAID.
