Pengaruh Perbedaan Jenis Pelarut Terhadap Hasil Rendemen Ekstrak Daun Binahong (Anredera cordifolia(Ten.)Steenis.)

Abstract

Binahong leaves contain active compounds such as alkaloids, steroids, flavonoids, phenols, saponins, tannins. The content of active substances in binahong leaves can be extracted by maceration. The choice of solvent type affects the yield value of the extraction results. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different types of solvents on the yield of binahong leaves. The research method used was Postest Only Group Design. The extraction method of binahong leaf simplisia was carried out using 2 types of solvents, namely 96% ethanol and n-hexanes. The extract obtained was then evaporated until a thick extract was obtained and then the yield value of each solvent was calculated. Data from the yield value was tested using the SPSS 25 program with a confidence level of 95%. Normality test was conducted with Shapiro Wilk test and homogeneity test using Levene, normally distributed and homogeneous data resulted (sig>0.05) followed by Independet T-test to determine the effect of different types of solvents. Data that were not normally distributed and homogeneous resulted in (sig0.05) were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test.
