Abstrak
Indonesian has a high level of antibiotic resistance. In the case of AMR, it is estimated to cost the global economy around 100 trilion USD by 2050 if left unaddressed. In a phenomenon that shows that the use of antibiotics no longer suprises the general public. People have strarted to comcume antibiotic such as ober-the-counter drugs. Most people use antibiotic through self-medication without a doctor’s prescreption. This study aims to determine the Pattern of Antibiotic Drug Use at Pharmacy XP Yogyakarta for the period of August - November 2024. The type of reserch used is observational with retrospective data collection, with the collection of prescription data of patients who redeem antibiotic prescriptions at Pharmacy XP. The instrumens used in this study are antibiotic prescription and data collection forms to record the patient’s name (initials), patient’s age, gender, antibiotic name, antibiotic class, and antibiotic dose. The results and conclusions of the study obtained on the pattern of antibiotic use at the XP Yogyakarta Pharmacy showed that the most widely used antibiotic class was the beta-lactam class at 44,62%. The names of antibiotic that are widely used are amoxicilin 44,62%, ciprofloxacin 12,31%, cefadroxil and cefixime 10,77%. The highest dose of antibiotic is amoxicilin 500mg 3x a day.
