Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat Tentang Penatalaksanaan Nyeri di Dusun Grojogan Bantul Bulan Januari 2024

Abstract

Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional state that can be associated with several types of actual and potential tissue damage. The prevalence of pain in Bantul Regency in 2018 was 20,000 cases. Previous research shows that there are still many people who have sufficient and insufficient knowledge about pain management. This lack of knowledge can cause pain to not be managed properly. This study aims to determine the level of community knowledge about pain management in Grojogan Hamlet, Tamanan, Banguntapan, Bantul. This study used an observational method that was descriptive in nature. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method with a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection was done using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively by scoring, the results of the data were presented with a percentage in the form of a table about the description of the level of knowledge of good, sufficient, and less. The results showed respondents with good knowledge 64%, sufficient knowledge 36%, and less knowledge 0%. It was concluded that respondents in Grojogan Hamlet had good knowledge with the majority of respondents aged 19-22 years, high school education / equivalent, working as laborers, and female gender.
