Pola Penggunaan Obat Diabetes Melitus Tipe II di Rumah Sakit Umum Rajawali Citra Periode Mei-Oktober 2023

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that can be reconized by increased blood sugar levels beyond normal limits that is current blood sugar level e200 mg/dL and fasting blood sugar e126 mg/dL. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Bantul Regency in 2022 will be 15.727 cases. Cases of diabetes mellitus at Rajawali Citra Hospital in 2022 were 1.961 cases and will be in the first position of the nine most common diseases in 2023. Besed on previous research, the drug often used for diabetes mellitus therapy are Metformin and Glimepiride. This study will aim to determine the diabetes mellitus type II drug use pattern at Rajawali Citra Hospital period May – October 2023. This is a descriptive observasional study with retrospective data collection wich was carried out at Rajawali Citra Hospital for the period May – October in 2023 with as many as 94 samples. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively quantitatively and then presented in a table in percentage form.
