Pola Peresepan Antibiotika Pada Pasien Infeksi Saluran Pernafasan Atas di RS Berhesda Lempuyangwangi Yogyakarta Tahun 2023

Abstract

ABSTRACT The prevalence of ISPA according to Riskesdas 2018 is 9.3%. ISPA data for the 1-4 year age group is 12.8% with the largest provinces being East Nusa Tenggara at 18.6%, Banten Province at 17.7% and East Java at 17.2%. The prevalence of ARI in DIY is 2.8%. Based on data on antibiotic use worldwide in 2000-2010, antibiotic use is increasingly high, namely 36%. This study aims to determine the pattern of antibiotic prescribing in ARI patients at Bethesda Lempuyangwangi Hospital in 2023. This research uses descriptive methods with retrospective data. Data collection used a purposive sampling technique, totaling 80 samples, where this research was carried out by collecting data from medical records of ISPA patients inpatients at Bethesda Lempuyangwangi Hospital in 2023. Data was analyzed by calculating the percentage of gender, age, name of antibiotic, class of antibiotic. The results of this study show that the characteristics of patients based on gender are female (58.75%) and male (41.25%). Meanwhile, based on age, the majority are adults aged 30-59 years (40%). The pattern of drug prescribing in ARI patients based on the type of drug most commonly prescribed is the antibiotic Cefadroxil (23.75%) and the least is Cefazolin (1.25%). The most frequently used drug class is Generation III Cephalosporins (36.25%) and the least frequently are Macrolides (8.75%). Keywords: Prescribing patterns, antibiotics, ARI
