Uji Efektivitas Seduhan Teh Daun Afrika (Vernonia amygdalina Del.) pada Mencit Putih Jantan Galur Swiss

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the most dangerous health problems in the world, because hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Diuretics are one class of drugs that can be used in the treatment of hypertension. African leaves have chemical content, one of which is flavonoids which are known to have a diuretic effect. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and dose of African leaf tea brewing that has the most optimum diuretic effect on swiss strain male white mice. This study used an experimental method of post test only control group design with 25 male white mice of Swiss strain divided into 5 groups, namely the negative control group (CMC Na 1%), the positive control group (furosemide 5.2mg/KgBB), and the treatment of African leaf tea brewing weights of 2, 4, 6 grams in 200ml of water. Then the urine volume was observed every 1 hour for 6 hours. Then analyzed using Anova test on SPSS version 25.
