Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Remaja tentang Anemia di Dusun Jadan Tamantirto Kasihan Bantul Pada Bulan Februari 2024

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the hemoglobin level in the blood is less than the normal value. This happens because iron plays a role in the synthesis of red blood cells to transport oxygen throughout the body. Iron deficiency causes the formation of red blood cells insufficient for the physiological needs of the body, which is referred to as anemia. In 2011, the highest incidence of anemia was 42.6% among children, 29.0% among non-pregnant women, 38.2% among pregnant women and 29.4% among adolescent women. The high incidence of anemia is caused by several factors including knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of adolescents about anemia in Jadan Hamlet Tamantirto Kasihan Bantul in February 2024. This research method uses descriptive observational method with sampling using purposive sampling technique using a questionnaire. The number of samples used in this study was 42 people. The data obtained from Jadan Hamlet Tamantirto Kasihan Bantul RT / RW 1-3/12 was calculated the percentage of the sample using the Slovin method, then categorized in the categories of good (76%-100%), sufficient (60%-75%), and less (<60%).
