Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Pasien dengan Ketepatan Penggunaan Obat NSAID di Puskesmas Kota Gede II Yogyakarta Bulan Februari 2024

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), states that pain is continuously felt by residents of developing and developed countries with a ratio of 5.3% and 33%. Drugs that are often consumed by the community, where as many as 67.03% often consume analgetic non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Community knowledge is an important factor in the proper use of NSAID drugs. Inappropriate use of NSAID drugs can worsen the patient's condition, increase pain levels, reduce quality of life and increase the risk of death. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of patient knowledge and the accuracy of the use of NSAID drugs at the Kota Gede II Health Center. This study used an analytic observational method with a cross sectional approach. Data collection carried out in this study consisted of a knowledge questionnaire and the accuracy of the use of NSAID drugs. Data analysis using the program (SPSS) version 25 with the chi-square test.
