Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Swamedikasi Obat Antipiretik di SMK Negeri 1 Bantul Bulan Februari 2024

Abstract

Self-medication is often practiced by the community as part of self-medication efforts. Restrictions on self-medication can only be done for the treatment of certain health problems such as allergies, anemia, cough, prickly heat, diarrhea, dermatitis, flu, acne, tinea pedis, calluses, dandruff, constipation, vomiting, psoriasis, headache, sinusitis, and fever. Antipyretics ranked first (28%) as the most commonly purchased medicine in self-medication. Self-medication can be a source of drug-related problems due to limited knowledge about drugs and their use. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge about self-medication of antipyretic drugs among students at SMK Negeri 1 Bantul. This study used descriptive observational method with purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a closed questionnaire. Respondents in this study were students of SMK Negeri 1 Bantul. Data were collected and the results were then calculated as % to be categorized as good (76%-100%), sufficient (60%-75%), and less (<56%). After scoring and checking, data analysis was then carried out in descriptive form.
