Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Penggunaan Sunscreen Pada Remaja di SMK Negeri 1 Bantul Periode Februari 2024

Abstract

Sunlight is the main source of life and energy on earth, but too much exposure to sunlight is detrimental to biological systems. In tropical areas such as Indonesia, which is located in the equatorial region with high levels of ultraviolet (UV) rays, the dangers of sun exposure must be watched out for, especially during the day. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of knowledge of female students at SMK Negeri 1 Bantul regarding the use of sunscreen. This study used a descriptive observational method with purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Bantul with a sample size of 95. Data collection using a questionnaire, by analyzing the score of each question and the results in the form of a percentage which is then interpreted on a qualitative scale with the criteria of e75% correct answers (good), 75-56% correct answers (medium), d55% correct answers (low).
