Tingkat Pengetahuan Pasien tentang Swamedikasi Obat Analgesik di Apotek K24 Satelit Sidoarum Godean Bulan Januari 2025

Abstract

Pain is a sensation that indicates that the body is experiencing tissue damage, inflammation, or more severe disorders such as nerve dysfunction, pain treatment is often done independently. Self-medication is a person's attempt to treat symptoms of a disease without consulting a doctor. Analgesics are drugs that can be used to reduce or eliminate pain. This study aims to determine the level of patient knowledge about self-medication of analgesic drugs at K24 Satellite Pharmacy Sidoarum Godean Yogyakarta. This study used an observational method that was descriptive in nature. Data analysis using a closed questionnaire that has been validated and then filled in by respondents who are the research sample. The data obtained was then categorized as good knowledge, sufficient, less. The results showed that the level of knowledge of patients regarding analgesic self-medication at K24 Satellite Pharmacy Sidoarum was 63 respondents (66%) had good knowledge level, 32 respondents (34%) had sufficient knowledge level and there were no respondents who had less knowledge. The conclusion of the research is the patient's knowledge level about analgesic self-medication is in good category.
