Papaya leaves contain carpine alkaloid compounds which function as antibacterial and anti-acne. Papaya leaves can be made in extract form used as an active ingredient in gel preparations. Gel base used using carbopol. Carbopol was chosen because it is non-toxic and not irritates the skin when used topically. It is non-toxic and notirritates the skin when used topically. Gel preparation needs to be done test evaluation. This research aims to determine the effect of addition papaya leaf extract against pH test and distribution diameter test. |
